The Storage Systems department is inviting applications for internship positions for 2014. The department engages in systems research with an emphasis on storage systems. The topics for internship include: high-performance analytics platforms (for deep learning, graph processing, etc.), scale-out converged storage, solid state storage, large-scale mobile sensing and cloud infrastructure for mobile clients.
The candidates must be enrolled in a PhD program and have solid technical knowledge, hands-on experimental skills, and a strong publication record. Students will work closely with group members on new research problems, with potential for publication in premier conferences.
