Hitachi: Invitation to Participate in Hitachi Research Visit Programs (HIVIPS)
HIVIPS is a program through which we invite qualified researchers from overseas to join us on a temporary employment basis. It was established with the aim of promoting "synergistic research through interaction among professionals with different backgrounds."
The HIVIPS program offers participants access to state-of-the-art research facilities as part of the Hitachi R&D Group, and provides an invaluable opportunity to gain experience in working at one of Japan's leading industrial research organizations.
In this increasingly borderless world, a deep personal understanding of diverse needs and varying experiences is becoming more and more important. It is hoped that the close personal exchange and cooperation between HIVIPS participants and Hitachi R&D Group researchers in working together to solve challenging issues, will contribute to mutual understanding and respect, as well as stimulate innovative and mutually beneficial ideas.
