SCSI Read/Write commands and data transfer size

Looking at the SCSI Command and Response PDUs
in draft 17 seems to indicate that the maximum
transfer size allowed by the protocol is 4G bytes.

Since there are SCSI commands that have the
capability to transfer up to 4G blocks is there
any thought being given to expanding the maximum
transfer size in the future to handle those larger
transfers?
