    RE: iSCSI - Retry,Reject query

    Giri,

The retry is explained in detail in the recovery chapter and the
    appendix.
If you retry an unacknowledged command and you should retry it on the
same connection while the connection is alive. If you did logout the
connection then you are free to retry on another connection if the
command is unaccounted at logout time or reassign if you know that the
    command has been received.
Data PDUs - again it all depends if the connection is alive or has been
    logged out.
If it is alive you must retry on it.

If it has been logged out you have to reassign the command to another
connection and restart the data transmission from an ack point on the
    other connection.

    Regards,
    Julo

    Subject: iSCSI - Retry,Reject query

    Hi,
In case of retries, should the pdu that is being retried be sent on
the same connection on which it was sent before?

In case of a retry arising out of a reject of a data out pdu (due to
data digest error), should the data out pdu be sent on the same
connection on which it was sent before?

    Thanks,
    Giri
