RE: iSCSI: Decimal encoding - why 64 bits ?

The thing that keeps me wondering is:

	given a nice well-behaved binary number,
	represented in hex as FF FF FF FF,
	it sure is a pain to represent it as:
	4 294 967 295

This simply does not make sense to me.  Anything
over 8 bits is suspect as a decimal encoded binary
number, and frankly I don't like such numbers over
3 bits.
