[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] iSNS server segfaults under LinuxHi, I'm having some serious trouble getting the sample iSNS server to work under Linux. One of the server's threads (I have not looked at the source enough to know which one) always segfaults: [aswaters@aethling ~/isns/isnsserver]$ ./isnss -i 127.0.0.1 -b 127.0.0.255 -d src/iSNStrcv.c 82 (TCP_RecvMain: Starting) IETF iSNS Open Source, v1.2.0. ===== iSNS Server: Started ===== Starting SNSReceiveMain thread. src/iSNSfsm.c 298 (iSNS starting...) SNSFSMTimeoutHdlr thread started. SNSESITimeoutHdlr thread started. Segmentation fault SNSReqTimeoutHdlr Started. Note that this happens under EVERY scenario in which I have tried it, meaning: - Binding the server on the loopback OR on a routable IP - On RedHat 7.2 (i386), RedHat 7.3 (i386), or Debian (powerpc) - As superuser or as a non-privileged user - When I use the provided Linux binaries or when I compile them myself ...and I realize that the server hasn't been tested (officially) on any of those platforms, but I find it odd that it segfaults on all of them. Can you guys provide any insight? Perchance is there an updated version of the source that _doesn't_ crash? Thanks for your time, Austin Waters aswaters@unity.ncsu.edu
