Jason,
To avoid spam, I think, most mailing lists do not forward mails from
non-subscribers.
If you are in doubt that your message was received you can simply repeat
the message to drop the session.
As a new session involves always new connections you are pretty safe.
Regards,
Julo

Dear Mr. Satran:
I sent this e-mail to ips@ece.cmu.edu a few days ago with getting any
response. Please let me know how to post iSCSI question and get answer. I
am sorry to send the question directly to you. Thank you for the help.

Subject: Asynchronous Message to drop the session
Dear Sirs:
How can the Target make sure that the Initiator receive the Asynchronous
Message PDU that was sent to drop the session (AsyncEvent = 3)? Can we use
the Nop-In PDU (pint) and check the expStatSN in the Nop-Out PDU? What
does the Target do if the Asynchronous Message PDU was lost? Thank you for
the help.
Jason
