    Security++ Changes Requested in FCIP

    Elizabeth, David,

Basically, what Don has found is two more places where
he wants to add the wording of the form "... and the FC
Entity SHALL be notified that a TCP connection has been
terminated." The purpose of this wording is to provide
for eventual notification of system administrators of
FCIP Link problems (which is something that FC-BB-2
    handles).

The first is in 10.4.1 and concerns the failure of an
IKE Phase 1. This change also requires the addition of
a row to the table in Appendix h.

The second is in Appendix D.

Both of the sentences Don wants to change have been in
FCIP since rev 9. Rev 10 was the subject of the second
    Working Group Last Call.

Since you two are the ones most likely to get roasted
for changing something that should have been reported
during the Working Group Last Call, I think you should
have the last word on whether these changes go now or
get fixed as part of All IETF Last Call.

    Thanks.

    .Ralph
