    Good point,
    
    A second port on the target.  If there is a second port on the initiator and
    it is attempting to set up a second connection on the initiator then
    presumably it can handle session spanning.

    Is your question below presuming a second port is being used on the
    initiator, 
    or a second port is being used on the target, or both?
