General Summary
We are looking for a self-motivated and creative intern student with machine learning and systems background to work on the Data Center Genome project at Microsoft Research, Redmond. The goal of the intern project is to use machine learning techniques to build models describing how datacenter applications consumes resources, such as power, cooling, networking, and rack spaces. With the model, we can optimize and control datacenter application placement and resource provisioning to run Internet applications more efficiently.
