Job Description
This position is for an internship in EMC's Network Attached Storage (NAS) Advanced Development Group. The selected candidate will have the rare opportunity to work with some of EMC's most senior and skilled developers in the research and development of enterprise class IP storage systems. In addition, the position offers the opportunity to
learn about the architecture and design of large scale enterprise class storage systems, high performance operating systems, and highly available distributed systems. Suitable candidates will have excellent problem solving and communications skills, strong initiative, adaptability and a desire to explore, evaluate and experiment with technology related to storage systems.

REQUIREMENTS

• Masters or PhD in CS Program
• Ability to program in C, C++, and scripting languages such as Perl or Python
• Expertise with various OS's including Linux, and Windows
• Expertise with TCP/IP, NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, and kernel/device driver development a plus
