SENIOR QA ENGINEER

Headquartered in San Jose, CA, EMC/Rainfinity needs to expand our world class engineering organization.

We have immediate opportunities for senior level quality engineers to develop and execute test plans, automated test applications, and test bed platforms for our next generation virtualization technology. Ideal candidates will enjoy a fast paced, technically challenging environment working with the industry's best experts in TCP/IP, file system protocols
and NAS virtualization.

REQUIREMENTS

• MS/PhD in Computer Science field
• 4+ years experience with network software applications, specific experience in storage management software a plus
• Firm understanding of software testing principles, methodologies and basic understanding of software development cycles
• Hands-on experience installing and maintaining networked Windows, Unix, Linux and/or ONTAP platforms
• Experience testing products at the protocol level for CIFS and/or NFS is a strong plus
• Familiarity setting up and managing network storage applications such as NAS devices from EMC or Network Appliance, DAS or SAN's.
• Programming experience in any of the following: TCL/Expect, Python, C, Shell Scripting, C++, or Perl
• Ability to professionally manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision and on schedule
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Must have strong documentation skills and the ability to understand software functional specifications.
